Rhythm and Rhyme
-an evening of poetry and jazz!
In collaboration with 21 Dreams Arts & Culture, this series features poetry
performed by a rotating lineup of local poets as well as performances by musicians from
Montgomery’s incredible jazz scene.

Jonathon Peterson (Emcee)
Jonathon Peterson, the emcee of Rhythm and Rhyme, is a 2-time Alabama Music Award Spoken Word Artist of the Year (2017 and 2019).
He is the voice of Alabama State University band and the PA announcer for Montgomery's semi-pro
basketball team.
